Terms of Use
These terms govern use of Home Passport AI, published by Christophe JACQUES, an individual developer acting as a non-trader.
Purpose
The app helps users organize home-related information and provides optional AI-assisted information. It does not replace professional inspection, maintenance, engineering, medical, legal, tax, insurance or emergency advice.
Your responsibilities
- Verify records, AI output, warranty dates and manufacturer instructions.
- Use qualified professionals for work that may affect safety, property or legal rights.
- Maintain backups of important documents and do not rely on the app as the sole archive.
- Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access or submit unlawful content.
Subscriptions
Paid plans, prices, billing periods and any free-trial terms are shown on the Apple purchase sheet before confirmation. Payment is charged to the Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through Apple Account subscription settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Restoration and management are available through Apple. Apple’s applicable refund rules apply.
AI and external services
AI responses may be incomplete or incorrect. Home Passport AI is the default developer-operated service. A user may voluntarily connect an external AI provider using a personal API key. Before activation, the app warns that questions will leave Home Passport AI and requires express consent. Any home context remains off until separately allowed. The external provider’s own terms, privacy policy and data practices apply; its processing is outside our control and responsibility.
Availability and liability
The app is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. The publisher is not responsible for decisions made without appropriate verification or professional advice.
Apple terms
Apple is not responsible for the app or its support. Use is also subject to the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement selected on the App Store product page.
